Project description:

Addition to existing Central United Methodist Church.  The existing Church complex was constructed in several phases beginning with the Sanctuary in 1903.  The present configuration of the buildings are not linked together in a way that is easily understood by visitors, nor is it handicapped accessible.  The concept of the design is to insert a new connector space that will allow for handicapped accessibility through all the levels of the building, and will serve as a gathering space to welcome visitors from both Church Street and Buncombe Street.

Project Involves:

60 Parking Spaces in 3-level parking garage
Multi Function Space for meetings, musical performances, and Church services
Full Kitchen and support spaces
Pre-function gathering space connecting the Family Life Center with the existing Church complex
