Design Process
Our experience designing and managing the construction of our projects has
led to the development of a proven, successful design process.
Throughout these initial steps, and the complete design process, we solicit
and rely upon input from our client. We believe that frequent, clear
communication with you will bring about the most successful project while making
the design process easier and more enjoyable for all involved.
| Form A Design Committee
|
Form a design/programming committee to include client
representatives, Camille-Alberice Architects, and our consultants. This
panel may also include community members as required by our client, and
can be as large or small as necessary. |
| Programming
|
Work closely with the design/programming committee on
site selection (if necessary), space allocations, user needs, long term
growth and flexibility, and any other considerations the committee feels
important to a successful project. |
| Site Analysis
|
Conduct initial cost study and analysis of selected
site, including existing structures, for compatibility with design
objectives identified by the committee. |
| Produce Schematic Options
|
Produce several schematic designs utilizing the
information compiled by the committee. Each scheme is thoroughly
investigated until one concept is selected as the best. That concept is
developed as the schematic design for the project. |
| Conduct Cost Analysis
|
Conduct a cost study/value analysis of the schematic
design. Our construction experience is especially valuable here. Our
consultants are also helpful during these cost studies because they are
selected for their communication skills as well as their technical
abilities. |
| Project Review |
Present project developments to the client, committee,
or community as required to facilitate timely completion of the design
process. |
