INFORMATION
| History
|
Camille-Alberice Architects was founded in
1989 by Robert Camille, Jr. and Peter Y. Alberice. Until July 2006, we
were located at 32
Broadway in downtown Asheville, in our award-winning renovated historic
Jenkins Building.
In August 2006 our office moved to our
new location in the 12 South
Lexington Ave. building.
Our firm employs nine professionals: consisting of
registered architects, intern architects, construction supervisors, technical staff and clerical
staff. This staffing guarantees that our clients receive the attention
their projects require.
We are small enough to focus on each project and
large enough to handle considerable production demands. Be assured that
your project will always be a priority.

| Construction Background
|
The architects at Camille-Alberice
Architects, P.A. have developed exceptional creative talent. We believe
the most successful buildings evolve from expertise not only in
architectural design, but also in construction technology and
construction methods.
All of our architects have extensive construction
experience, and the projects we design benefit directly from our
construction efforts. This field experience helps us to understand
contingencies such as labor costs, price fluctuations in building
materials, and new product developments. Our designs reflect your bottom
line.

Cost Control
|
Cost control at
Camille-Alberice begins long before a commission is awarded to us.
Several years ago our principals formed a construction company, The
RPM Group, which we used to build some of the projects we designed. Our
architects are actively involved in these construction efforts and this
hands-on experience enables us to better understand construction methods
and scheduling, and most importantly, to design within your budget.
Our designs are economically assembled, and specify affordable
materials and construction methods familiar
to our local work force. Our designs are flexible enough to modify
during construction, taking advantage of new materials or adjusting for
fluctuating construction costs.

Scheduling
|
Our approach to keeping jobs
on schedule can be summarized in one word, communication.
Communication among design team members, and especially communication
between ourselves and our client is essential. We keep you informed and
provide you with the options and information you need to make the
sequence of decisions that help your project move toward timely
completion within your budget.
