Two-phase
conversion of an existing apartment complex into a 115
Unit residential condominium hotel.
The existing apartment complex was built in 1968 and required extensive
renovation.
The $15 million 700 Biltmore project involved complete mechanical,
electrical and plumbing replacement along with conversion to meet ADA and
building code requirements.
The
units are a mix of studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom units and include
porches and fireplaces. Phase
two includes a restaurant, check-in, and meeting room complex over underground
parking. Phase two
also includes a recreation area consisting of swimming pool, outdoor lounge
area, fire pit, and lodge meeting room.
